1 What is a partial template block?

Do you have several (offer) templates that differ from each other in some respects, but partly contain the same text and formatting? Then use partial templates and save time when adding your standard templates in Tribe CRM. A partial template is a fixed component that can recur in a template. Think of a signature or a standard header or footer. This way, you can easily reuse standard blocks without having to create them every time.

In Tribe CRM, a distinction is made between two types of partial templates:

  • Offer template part template: Part template that is part of the offer template (accompanying e-mail).
  • Document activity template partial templates: Part template that is part of a document template such as a quotation or invoice.

2 How do I add a partial template block and what are the settings?

Adding a partial template block to a template

Add a partial template block by clicking + in the template layout and choosing Part Template in the Common Blocks section.

Did you know?

A modification in a partial template is immediately implemented in all templates where this partial template is used? A change in a partial template can only be made in the partial template itself, not in the template it is part of.

What are the settings for the partial template block?

There are no settings of a sub-template block. All settings are in the added blocks in the sub-template itself. If something needs to be adjusted, open the sub-template and adjust the relevant block.
